Odessa C. Green was born January 13, 1978, to the late David Brown and Odessa Green Brown. Odessa was diagnosed with sickle cell at 6 months of age. She fought her whole life, and everything the doctors said she couldn’t do she did. She departed this life July 11, 2023. Some of her accomplishments was giving birth to three beautiful children, she did everything she could for them.
Odessa leaves to cherish her memories three children Nicole Ellis (Geaquell Smith), Ta’zashy Whitted, and A’vah Richardson; her mother Odessa Brown; brothers Robert Green, the late Shawn Brown, Troy Brown, and David Brown Jr.; her sisters Erica and Tyesha Brown, Markita Brown and Tina Green; the love of her life Daryl Richardson; her Godmother Dorothy Bowles and two God sisters Nicole Thomas and Rockel Henderson. Odessa lived her life according to Odessa wishes “no exceptions needed. “
