Phillip P. Cunningham affectionally known as “KY,” transitioned home on September 11, 2022.  He was born in Louisville, Kentucky October 20, 1948 and spent many years in Long Branch with his family.  Phillip was a lover of horses, was fluent in Spanish, a boxer, enjoyed playing basketball, and a great singer.  Phillip spent most of his spare time caring for and training his horses at the racetrack.

Phillip enjoyed meeting new people and exchanging life stories, he loved to tell stories especially those about his family.  Phillip was an active member of the Foundational Truth Bible Study Ministries, where he enjoyed singing in the choir and fellowship with his church family.

Phillip was preceded in death by his father Henry Cunningham, mother Sarah Brown and sister Fran Isaac.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Christine Cunningham; his daughters Ramona Cunningham-Jones, Alicia Terry and Ebony Gibson; his sons Ryan Cunningham, William Edwards and Douglas Gibson Jr.; a niece Francoise Isaac; two nephews Kevin Cunnington and Malcolm Isaac; his grandchildren Javon Crawford, Syann Crawford, Ryasia Cunningham, Ryahna Cunningham, Xavier Davis and Imani Davis; great-grandchildren Bonji Salaam and Namylah Frazier; his church family and friends.
