Rita Mae Feast, age 77, was born in New Orleans, LA on September 30, 1946, to the late Robert and Marguerite Palmer Haywood. Rita passed away in Freehold, NJ on November 27, 2023, in the company of her family.
Rita touched many lives and cultivated long-term friendships through her participation in various organizations such as the Officer Wives’ Club and the Dallas Cowboys Fan Club and her passionate work as a Fashion Fair representative.
Rita was preceded in death by her grandmother Georgianna Foster, her grandfather, Robert Palmer; three brothers, Edward Haywood Sr., Earl Haywood Sr., Raymond Haywood Sr.; and a sister in-law Gloria Hamilton.
Rita leaves behind her husband, Joseph Feast, Jr.; her son, Michael Feast (Monique); her daughter, Shalitha Feast; two sisters, Doris Holmes (Issac) and Marion Smith (Wallace); three brothers, Alvin Haywood (Karen), Curtis Haywood (Rosalyn), and Ervin Haywood (Etta); three granddaughters, Dominique Feast, Simone Feast, and Amiya Feast; brother in-law Dearmus Hamilton (Patricia); a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, and close friends who loved her unconditionally.
