Russell R. Rogers, 66, of Whiting, NJ passed away quietly on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. He was born and raised in Neptune where he was a member of the Unexcelled Fire Company. Following in the path of his father and older brother, he became a truck driver, his lifelong career. He had been working for Automatic Rolls of New Jersey, Edison, for 16 years when he passed. He was a NASCAR addict and a NY Giants devotee.
He is predeceased by his parents Lewis Sr. and Florence Rogers, sister JoAnn Rogers, and brothers Lewis Jr. and Kenneth Rogers.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Wilkins; sister Nancy Meklin; sons Rusty and Michael Rogers, and a bounty of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
