Shelton Umar Weatherbe 60, of Long Branch, NJ has departed from his physical body on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Shelton entered the world March 17, 1962, in Newark, NJ to the parents of Mr. Wilmot Brown and the late Ella A Brown. Shelton grew up in East Orange, NJ and he was able to obtain his GED while at Job Corp in Edison, NJ. Shelton has held positions as a Marketer, as well as helped at shelters and church before settling down at Shop Rite in Long Branch.
Shelton leaves behind 4 children, Shacorra Singleton, Umar Weatherbe, Brian Martin, and Shawn Martin; his father, Wilmot Brown; two brothers Tyrone & Darrin Brown; his grandkids; his life partner Rebecca and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew from the Perry, Williams and Brown sides.

It was a pleasure to have known you. You were a great person always nice and a hard worker. Through all your pain to still remained strong. You will be missed Shelton. RIP.
