Walter Samuel Wright affectionately known as “Tiger” was born on February 17, 1968, to the late Walter Henry Wright and Sandra Victoria Wright at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange, New Jersey. He quietly took his rest on Thursday November 3, 2022.

Walter continued his parochial education by attending Seton Hall University where he received his bachelor’s degree in business.  He obtained his master’s degree in Human Resources from Ashford University.  He worked as a Credentialed Trainer for EPIC at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Healthcare System in Oceanport, NJ.

Walter met and married the love of his life, Victoria R. Law on January 31, 2010.  Although there were no children from their union, Walter shared a special bond with his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Raised by the word of God, Walter was a devoted member of True Love Center in Hamilton, New Jersey.  Where Bishop E. Earl Jenkins is senior pastor.

Anyone that knew Tiger knew his love for fishing and karaoke.  Tiger could spend hours fishing on any given Saturday.  Sitting on the dock of the bay was one of his favorite karaoke songs.  He was a huge fan of the New York Mets and the Dallas Cowboys.  Wrestling was his number one show to watch any day of the week.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His adorning wife Victoria Law-Wright; sister Tara Wright of Bloomfield, NJ; brother John Alexander (Nikki) of Bloomfield, NJ; mother-in-law Beatrice Law Long Branch, NJ; five Aunts: Esther Wright, Carla Wright, Donna Wright, Sandra Wright-Nelson Jones (JB) all East Orange, NJ and Theresa Johnson of Philadelphia, PA;  one Uncle Wayne Wright (Dora) of South Plainfield;  one great aunt Rachel Brooks of Montross, VA; three sister-in-laws Faye Pringle Neptune, NJ, Martha Daniels Neptune, NJ, and Tammie Law of Georgia; 2 Brother-in-laws Mickey Pringle (Belinda)South Carolina, and Robert Law (Gwen) North Carolina;  nieces and nephews: Derrel Wright, Sharif Alexander & Natasha John Alexander Jr. all of Bloomfield, NJ, Shawn Whitaker Neptune, NJ, Fred Whitaker (Tyshell) Plainfield, NJ, Tyese Law Virginia Beach, VA, Rhashamekia Law Texas, Rhajuan Law Neptune, NJ, Starsheona Puryear (Simon), Tyrese Law all of Long Branch, NJ, Johnnie Law (Nic) Atlanta, GA, Santwan Law, Quatisha Law, Natasha Law Washington DC, Shaneaqua Pringle South Carolina, Roy Daniels III Neptune, NJ, Kurrell Law New Jersey and God daughter Tori Artis of Manchester, NJ; his childhood and lifelong friends Percy Crisp III, Stephen Materek, Ray Anderson, Greg Magarelli and Bobby Kononpka as well as a host of cousins, friends, coworkers, and church family.
